jQuery UI droppable classes for hover

Version of jQuery UI - 1.11

This does not work:

jQuery( ".droppable" ).droppable({

   accept: ".draggable",
   classes: {

     "ui-droppable-active": "ui-state-active",
     "ui-droppable-hover": "ui-state-hover"
   },

..........

This works:

jQuery( ".droppable" ).droppable({

   accept: ".draggable",

   activeClass: "ui-state-hover",
   hoverClass: "ui-state-active",

..........
